Sarah's Butter Chicken

No good photo to post, so you'll just have to trust me :D
I made this up because honestly, the other recipes for Butter Chicken were too complicated!!

Sarah's Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

2 Boneless Chicken Breasts cut into small tenders
1 C Butter (split in half)
1 Medium Carton of Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4-1/2 C Sour Cream
1/2 Large Red Onion minced or 2T Dried Onions
1T Chili Powder
1T Curry
1T White Pepper
1/2 T Cumin
1T Paprika

Directions:

Cook chicken breasts thoroughly, cut into small tenders, place back in pan. On Medium heat, fry chicken, 1/2 C Butter, and Onions until either onions are soft or the edges of the meat are golden brown. Add Sour Cream, remaining Butter, and Heavy Whipping Cream. Stir, bring to a boil. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer for an additional 15 mins, stirring frequently. 

Allow to sit for 5 mins. Serve over White Rice

Serves 4

I personally thought it was delicious!!! If you are looking for something more authentic, this isn't it. It definitely is a bit different than the traditional but it was super yummy! :D
